V první čtvrtině včerejšího zápasu jsme obdrželi 37 bodů, což je bezprecedentní důkaz toho, že naše obrana absolutně nefungovala. V průběhu druhé čtvrtiny jsme dokázali překlopit stav utkání na svojí stranu díky zlepšené obraně, na druhé straně hřiště se nám dařila střelba zpoza tříbodové čáry, stav v poločasu byl 54:55.

Ve třetí čtvrtině se bohužel opakoval scénář ze začátku utkání. Naše obrana se zcela vytratila, nedařilo se nám ani v útoku, 7x jsme ztratili míč a tento úsek zápasu jsme prohráli 28:7. Tím bylo utkání rozhodnuto, prohráli jsme 98:81.

Náš největší problém tkvěl pod košem. Klíčový pivot našeho týmu Diago Quinn byl limitován zraněním, které si tento týden přivodil při tréninku a naši ostatní hráči nebyli schopni soupeři pod košem konkurovat. Nový rozehrávač Jordan Strawberry předvedl několik vydařených akcí. Jordan k našemu týmu přicestoval z Ameriky ve čtvrtek, což bezpochyby ovlivnilo jeho výkon. Nejlepším střelcem celého utkání byl opět Torin Dorn, který zaznamenal 25 bodů, 7 doskoků a 6 asistencí. Nadále zůstává nejlepším střelcem celé ligy.

Naše další utkání se odehraje v Jindřichově Hradci příští sobotu, kdy vyzveme Pardubice.

We let our oponent score 37 points in the first quarter which is an unprecedented evidence that our defense failed completely. Our team managed to turn the tide of the game during the second quarter thanks to our improved defense. We also sucesfully scored from behind the three point lane and we were winning 54:55 in the halftime.

Our defense stopped working again in the third quarter, we couldn´t score, we had 7 turnovers during this period. We lost the third quarter 28:7 which sealed the result of this game and we lost 98:81.

Our biggest issue was in the paint. Key center of our team Diago Quinn was limited by injury that happened during practice this week. New point guard of our team Jordan Strawberry had some great moments in yesterdays game. Jordan joined our team on Thursday when he arrived from USA which without any doubt influenced his performance. The best scorer of the game was once again Torin Dorn. He scored 25 points, 7rebounds, 6 assists and remains the best scorer of the entire league.

Our next game takes place in Jindřichův Hradec next Saturday against Pardubice.
